FIXED ROPES COURSES IN OUR SURROUNDING AREA

Geierwand Haiming via ferrata

A very special via ferrata route for enthusiasts – it is scarcely believable that this impressive escarpment does not exceed difficulty level C! The formula for success is the combination of a very good route and 98 solid footholds – where the terrain gets more difficult you can make use of the iron stirrups and enjoy hassle-free climbing across one of the exposed sections. The ferrata route makes for pleasant climbing, providing perfect views to the Inntal. The main area of difficulty comes relatively far up, after the suspension bridge. A short, C-rated section, with lots of iron ladders. The rest of the path is mostly level B/C and B.

Walking time:  approx. 2 ½ hours (including the descent 3 hours)
